Assam SLET Commission announced that candidates willing to appear for SLET 2014 can download Assam SLET 2014 application form from the official website. SLET (State Level Eligibility Test) 2014 for North east region is conducted every year for the candidates willing to make career in a teaching field. This year the SLET 2014 will be held on 16th November, 2014. You can download your Assam SLET 2014 application form from the official website or can collect it from the SLET center in your city. Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura are the participating states for the North East SLET 2014.
Eligibility Criteria: candidate with minimum 55% marks in their Master’s degree and for the SC/ST/PWD candidates should have scored at least 50% without rounding up is eligible to submit Assam SLET 2014 Application form. In case, if you are from Assam, then you can check Assam CEE 2014 result as well. It will be announced from few days now.

You can collect the application form from the test centers on paying the application form fee in cash. You can also download the Assam SLET 2014 Application form from the official website. The last date to submit the application form and pay the test fees is 30th August, 2014. If you have downloaded the application form from the website than you need to send the application form fee along with the test fee via DD.

Mode of payment of fees: You can pay the application form fee in cash when you collect the application form from the exam center & also pay the test fee in cash when you submit the application form at the exam center.
If you are sending the application form via post than you need to pay the application fee and test fee via bank demand draft drawn on State bank of India, Guahati University branch (No 2060) in favour of “Member Secretary, SLET Commission, Gauhati University Campus”.
Exam paper information
Students willing to appear for the test will have to answer 3 question papers, all the 3 question papers will have only objective type of question in form of Multiple choice, Matching, assertion & reasoning and last true or false.

Answer key release date: will be available on the official website after 7 days of the test.
To clear the Assam SLET 2014 students have to score minimum 40% in Paper 1 and Paper 2 and 50% for paper 3 for general category students. For PWD/SC/ST students have to score minimum 35% in Paper 1 and Paper 2 and 40% for paper 3.
