JEE Main 2015 – Important Exam Date
Here are the important dates for the candidates who will be appearing for JEE Main 2015 this year. The JEE Main 2015 exam dates checklist for you to keep track of dates of JEE Main exams, results and other important dates at the proper juncture of time. JEE Main 2015 (Joint Entrance Examination) is all India’s common entrance exams conducted by CBSE towards admissions in IITs, IIITs and NIITs for various engineering courses. CBSE has started JEE from 2012 replacing AIEEE and IIT-JEE. It is conducted in two sections i.e. the first one is JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced. JEE Main 2015 exam is for admissions in Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Central Funded Technical Institute (CFTIs) and Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur. While JEE Advanced is for admissions in Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institutes of Mine, Dhanbad.
The exam dates for both offline and online sections are already announced by CBSE. The offline exam of JEE Main 2015 will be held on 4th April 2015 and the online exam will be held on 10th April 2015 and 11th April 2015. Regarding results of JEE Main 2015, as per the notification by CBSE, the scores of Paper I will be declared on 27th of April 2015. This marks of Paper I of JEE Main 2015 will show the actual marks obtained in Paper I along with the status of those candidates who are qualified for appearing in JEE (Advanced).
Later on, based on the marks of Paper I and normalized score in 12 separate rank lists will be prepared for admission to BE/B Tech and B. Arch / B. Planning in institutions other than IITs. This rank list will be declared on 7th of July 2015.
The answer keys and the OMR (Images of Response Sheets) of JEE Main 2015 – Offline and Online exams will be declared through official website www.jeemain.nic.in from 18th to 22nd April 2015. Top 1,50,000 candidates shortlisted by CBSE to appear for JEE Main 2015 Advanced 2015.
Till 5.00 M on 22nd April 2015, candidates can fill an online application form for reviewing the captured response sheets or answer sheets. Online Application form will be available on official website of JEE Main 2015 till 22nd April 2015 for the candidates who are not satisfied with the response sheets and want to challenge it. This form can be filled up online with payment of Rs. 1000/- per question. You can also pay this amount through credit or debit card or e-challan. The same is non-refundable.
