Ek Villain Story Disclosed
Expected to hit cinemas on June 27, 2014, Ek Villain is a romantic thriller of the season after Aashiqui 2 directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor. This film features Siddharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Ritesh Deshmukh in leading roles. Siddharth and Shraddha would be starring opposite each other in this film, for the second time after Hasee Toh Phasee, which unfortunately, did not turn out to be a hit. Here, you would observe Siddharth playing the role of Guru, as the main lead, Ritesh is the supporting actor, and Shraddha Kapoor plays the role of Aisha.
This film shows the character of Aisha being killed in the first fifteen minutes and the rest of the film is in flashback. Guru is a ruthless and tough boy who works for a politician in Goa. After seeing Aisha, he follows her to Mumbai and persuades her to marry him. Things run smoothly, till she is killed and he is on the hunt for her attackers. The rest of the story shows his desperate hunt for them.
Ritesh, who is well known for his comic roles, plays the role of a villain for the first time in his film career. Guru transforms into a villain after the death of his love. Because of both these characters playing negative roles in the movie, Ek Villain, which is a romantic thriller, it is difficult to predict, and who would be the actual villain.

Ek Villain, which is assumed to be a romantic thriller, seems to be simply perfect through its trailers and the story looks quite intriguing. This dialogue has been made audible, often, in the movie trailers which makes it, a must watch movie for everyone.
According to news sources, Esha Gupta and Alia Bhatt were the first choices by Mohit instead of Shraddha. She replaced them, when they refused to play the role.
Shraddha Kapoor makes her debut as a singer in Ek Villain which is a romantic thriller, with her song Gaaliyan unplugged and she has her melodious voice has enthralled everyone’s hearts. In addition, you will see Prachi Desai performing an item song and Kamal R Khan making a special appearance. Tushar Hiranandani has written the story of Ek Villain and Ankit Tiwari has directed the music.
Ek Villain- a Copy of the Korean Film
Though the songs and the trailers seem perfect for this romantic thriller to hit the box office after its release, the entire cast of the film has kept their fingers crossed. According to some sources, it is said to be a copy of the Korean film, I Saw the Devil. However, Mohit Suri claims to have taken only a single dialogue from the film and not the whole story.
Now, the date on which, Ek Villain is released, will determine whether it is a copy of the Korean film or not. Nevertheless, whether the film is a hit or not, you can expect the cinemas to be flooded with a large number of people to witness the chemistry between Shraddha Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra. Let us hope, Ek Villain turns out to be a blockbuster of this season.
