Finally Fast & Furious 7 has lived up to its title and has made business of whopping Rs 100 crore in India. It is the first ever hollywood movie to make such astounding box office collection. Right from its opening day as it released on 3rd April, it showed surprising response at the box office across the country. Today after one week of release, it has touched the mark of Rs. 100 crore over 2800 screens across the country. It surmounted the collection of bollywood crime thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshi from the very first day and also show the highest weekend collection to any hollywood movie in India. The film go released in 2D, 3D as well as IMAX format in various cities.
Well the two main reasons which can be behind this success of Fast & Furious 7 is its widest release at the ample number of screens in India i.e 2800 screens and double figure than that of Detective Byomkesh Bakshy which is Sushant Singh Rajput’s ambitious period based detective story.

Another reason is that Paul Walker’s death has turned the movie watchers in favor of film. Paul Walker died in a car crash before he could complete the shooting of the film. Fast & Furious 7 marks the last on screen appearance of Paul Walker to which homage is paid beautifully in the movie.
This hollywood action flick has proved trade pundits wrong in predicting the box office income estimation. The film easily managd to start with a blast and grow steadily upwards as it grossed around Rs. 11.3 crore while Detective Byomkesh Bakshy earned Rs. 5 crore the same day.
Fast & Furious 7 is the sequel to the 2013 Fast & Furiuos 6. Beside Paul Walker, the star cast of Fast & Furious include Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Kurt Russel and Jason Statham.
