Education Board of Gujarat State will conduct Gujarat TET Exam 2014 in the month of September 2014. Mandate Gujarat TET 2014 Exam information.
Gujarat TET Exam is conducted by the education board of Gujarat State every year. The exam is held in different 26 centers across Gujarat, candidates willing to apply TET English medium then the centers are limited to Rajkot, Ahmadabad, Baroda and Surat. While filling the online form candidate has the option to select their exam center. Every year the number of candidates applying for the Gujarat TET xxam, keeps on increasing. Eligibility criteria for GUJTET 2014
- Candidate should have completed 12 th HSC with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate should have successfully cleared graduation with minimum 50% marks.
- Must have a D.Ed (PTC) or B.ED degree.
Gujarat TET Application procedure:
Candidates willing to apply for the TET need to visit the official website Ojas.guj.nic.in and fill the online application form. The application form will be available to fill online during the 1st week of August and will end in the 3rd week of August 2014. To fill the online form candidate need to click on Apply for TET-II and select the medium of language they wish to apply for the exam. Then candidate need to fill in all the mandatory information required on the form, personal details, education details and then need to click on save and candidates will get the application number. Candidate also need to submit their Photo and signature as well in JPG format, file size less than 10 K.
After submitting photo and signature, candidate need to click on print Indian post office chalan and pay INR 350 at any computerized post office. Post office will charge INR 20 service charge which candidate has to pay.
The test is conducted in two papers, paper 1 is for the candidates willing to teach from Std I to Std V and 2nd paper is for the candidates willing to teach Std VI to VIII. The candidates, willing to teach students from class I to Class VIII, have to appear for both the papers. The time duration of each paper is 2 and half hrs.
