JEE Main 2015 Online Exam
Since dates for India’s top engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2015 are already out, we bring here some important information to solve all your queries regarding the JEE Main 2015 – Online Exam (Computer based examination). This entrance examination is comprised of two parts; the first one is pen and paper based offline exam and the later one is computer based online exams. The online mode exam of JEE Main 2015 will be conducted for Paper I (B.E/B. Tech) on 10th and 11th April 2015. This computerized test is not internet based and you have to appear for it at your selected examination center. About JEE Main 2015 Online Exam
JEE Main 2015 is the biggest engineering entrance test of India conducted by CBSE for direct admissions to the top IITs, NIITs, CFITs and ISM Dhanbad. It is conducted in two parts i.e. Offline and Online. The online mode examinations of JEE Main 2015 will be held on 10th and 11th April 2015. The duration of the online exam of JEE Main 2015 will be 180 minutes.
An advantage of online exam of JEE Main 2015 is that candidates can review or re-answer any question at any point of time during the examination and candidate can change the option of the answer during the test hours. This is the best feature of this mode of JEE Main2015 in favor of students. The candidate can also mark any answer for review at later stage during the online mode examination of JEE Main 2015. The system of this test applied in JEE Main 2015 is very friendly for students as there will be panel on computer screen which will show all the question nos. in different colors which will indicate which questions are already answered by the candidate, which ones are left to be answered and which ones are marked for review. There will be a countdown timer in the top right corner of the screen which will help you to know how much time is left with you. As soon as the time limit is finished, the test will automatically end.
How to appear for JEE Main 2015 – online mode
In the JEE Main 2015 online mode, each student will be allotted a computer at the center. The questions will appear on computer as multiple choice questions. Multiple options will be provided below each question on the screen. Once you go through the question, select the button showing your correct answer (option). Click on the Save & Next button to save your answer and proceed to the next question. You can also use the other features which will appear at the right side of the screen, like marking the question for review at later stage. You can move on to the next question without attending the current one and can answer it at later stage during the examination hours.
Different colored question palette or symbol will be displayed on the right side of the screen to show the status of the questions nos.:
- Questions you have not visited
- Questions you have visited but not yet answered
- Questions you have already answered
- Questions you have NOT answered but marked it for review
- Questions you have answered but also marked it for review / change
Also note that if you have answered a question and have Marked It for Review at later stage, this selected answered will be considered in the evaluation even if you do not review or change it later.
