Sonakshi Sinha to debut small screen as a judge
Film star Sonakshi Sinha will be appearing on the small screen to judge the reality show Indian Idol Junior Season 2 on Sony TV. Though the actress must have appeared on TV in many reality shows as a guest, she will be making her full fledged TV debut for the first time. TV has been a favourite place for film stars too with big stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan hosting reality shows with immense success. TV shows anchored and judged by popular film stars are often loved by viewers. Sonakshi Sinha will be the latest one to join the band of bollywood stars joining TV show.
The auditions of Indian Idol Junior 2 are starting from 4th and 5th of April 2015 in Kolkata and will be continued till end of April 2015 in various cities like Chandigarh, Delhi and Mumbai. Indian Idol Junior is a popular singing competition and reality show of Sony TV for kids. The composers Vishal-Shekhar and playback singer Shreya Ghoshal judged the first season of Indian Idol Junior which was aired on Sony TV in 2013.
The season 2 of Indian Idol Junior will see Sonakshi Sinha in the panel of judges along with music composer Vishal and Salim Merchant. Sonakshi has expressed her excitement at her twitter by quoting the news as a great one. The second season of Indian Idol Junior will be anchored by Hussain Kuwajerwala and Asha Negi. Asha Negi has recently made her mark on TV by winning Nach Baliye Season 6 while Hussain Kuwajerwala who became famous by playing detective Arjun in ‘Krishna Arjun’ TV Series.
We feel Sonakshi is one of the chirpiest actress of current bollywood and has been popular among kids after starring in numerous action-comedies like Dabangg & Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardar, Action Jackson and R Rajkumar. Actor Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter became an instant hit with Dabangg followed by Dabangg 2, Rowdy Rathore, OMG, R Rajkumar, Lootera and many more bollywood flicks with top actors like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar. She has been a lucky mascot for action comedies since then.

Beside Sonakshi Sinha, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt were the names streaming in as probable judge of Indian Idol Junior 2. Well since now Sonakshi has been finalised to judge this music reality show for kids, it will be fun for contesting indian idol juniors too, to have Sonakshi as their judge. We think Indian Idol Junior 2 has roped in the perfect actress for the juniors’ music show.
Interestingly, Sonakshi appeared at stage of Indian Idol Junior first season in 2013 to promote her then upcoming movie Lootera with her co-star Ranveer Singh. Now she will be replacing the previous panellist Shreya Ghoshal.

Lately the competition is all high with several reality shows at different channels and we wish Sonakshi Sinha’s sizzling presence will make this music reality show a bit more popular and irresistible among TV audience.
