ISL 2014 Participating Teams
Eight teams participate in the inaugural edition of Hero ISL. These teams are from regions that have always been contributing hugely to Indian football. We have the list of the teams and home grounds.

- FC Pune City – Balewadi Stadium, Balewadi, Pune
- Kerala Blasters FC – Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor, Kochi
- Mumbai City FC – Dr. D. Y. Patil Stadium, Nerul, Mumbai
- NorthEast United FC – Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai, Guwahati
Download ISL 2014 Schedule
ISL will kick start in the Mecca of Indian football on October 12. The opener will take place in the famous Salt Lake stadium when the hosts Atletico de Kolkata takes on Mumbai FC. The format in the league stage is similar to that of the IPL with teams playing a home and away match against each other. The league stage matches conclude with Chennai Titans taking on Mumbai FC at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium on December 10. This will be followed by two-legged semi-finals and the final, venues of which have not yet been decided. The first leg semi-final matches shall be played on December 13 and 14. The second leg semi-final matches are scheduled for December 16 and 17. The more than two months long event shall conclude on December 20. All matches will have 7:00 PM kick-off.
