Sushant unveils Byomkesh Bakshi’s fashion line
Nowadays, we often see stars promoting their films prior to release and many do it via fashion trends their film is going to represent. The ongoing 25th Amazon Fashion Week of India at Delhi will be contributing to the promotion of the upcoming crime thriller Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. The successful TV star actor turned bollywood star is all set for his new release Byomkesh Bakshy! And he does it with some difference this time, by launching the clothing line of this period film at the ongoing Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW).
The actor along with director Dibakar Banerjee unveiled an apparel line titled NOIR 43. Needless to say the draping are inspired by the costumes used in this upcoming film Byomakesh Bakshi and this definitely serves their purpose of promoting the film.
Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is a period film & a crime thriller to be released on 3rd of April 2015. It is set in the back drop of Kolkata of 1940s’.
The film also stars Anand Tiwari and Swastika Mukherjee in lead roles. The fashion collection of Film includes man as well as woman collection The menswear is influenced by blacks and dark shades. It also defines dhoti differently and also promotes digitally printed shirts and t-shirts.
Amazon India Fashion Week witnessed the launch of clothing lines designed for the movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and the same will soon be available on the online fashion store of Amazon.
The women’ collection truly captures the glam of the forties with cool midi length skirs, palazzos and collared blouses.
As for the film, Sushant Singh Rajput is looking forward at the release of the film and hopes that it will work magic for him in the industry after initial successes of Kaipo Che, Shudh Desi Romance and PK. The film revolves around the central character of Detective Byomkesh Bakshi played by Sushant which is a fictional one penned by Bengali writer Sharadindu Bandophadhyay.
